Issues-Today.com is another ICON-Exchange creation.  ICON stands for Innovative Communications & Online Networking, and Issues-Today.com is meant to further communication amongst the citizens of the virtual world of the Net.

Everyday our world provides new challenges, at the global, national, and local levels.  Natural disasters threaten millions of lives, governments continue to inadequately represent us, and violence shatters neighborhoods both abroad and at home.

Confronted with these realities, how we address them, and respond to them, is how history will define and judge us.  We can all each do our parts to bring attention to these issues today, and help make the world a better place tomorrow.

Whether you are supportive or against an issue, the important thing is to make your voice heard, and to bring attention to the issues that matter.  Issues-Today.com’s core mission is to do just that.

Walter H. Judd (1898 – 1994), American politician and stateman, recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom (nation’s highest civilian award), and “an outspoken anti-communist and critic of U.S. rapprochement with China at the expense of Taiwan, said:

“People often say that, in a democracy, decisions are made by a majority of the people. Of course, that is not true. Decisions are made by a majority  of those who make themselves heard and who vote-a very different thing.”

We hope you enjoy your experience at Issues-Today.com, and that you will become a part of our growing community, sharing your thoughts and views, and eventually, writing for us as well!
